How gorgeous is this place? This has to be one of my favorite spots on Orange County to watch the sun set. It's not your typical beach scene, and trust me I love those, but nothing quite compares to how gold these hills are. I'm glad to know gems like this exist between the shopping malls, business complexes, and gated communities.

In other news, I am beyond stoked to be wearing one of my new tops from Top Knot Goods. Seriously, I could go on and on about how much I love Natalie (the creative genius behind the shop) she is such a creative mega babe and has such a beautiful heart. Nothing makes me happier than to rep an awesome independent brand that I love with all my heart. Their new logo T happens to be ridiculously cute and soft and just a little cheeky. Perfect!

The Forest.

I'm in love and I don't care who knows it. A few weeks back I attended a pretty ridiculous sample sale and was able to stock up on one of my favorite brands, Jen's Pirate Booty. I stocked up on a pile of gauzy white beachy goodness and I haven't been able to stop wearing it since. I swear, throwing on one of her dresses magically transforms you into a mermaid or some kind of tropical goddess. Okay, maybe that's an exaggeration, but can you really fight swirling around in anything white and flowy. I decided to prove this point while exploring one of my favorite secret forests, the end result was pretty rad.

Stripes and Denim.

07.14.2014 // Isn't it funny how we gravitate towards things. Maybe it's just me but whenever I'm in a store I find myself constantly trying on some permeation of the same things...Oversized shirts, white flowy dresses, printed shorts, and maybe a romper if I'm feeling adventurous. Well the outfit below was created out of shopping outside my comfort zone and I ended up falling in love. If you're anything like me, its extremely easy to write off a lot of different styles because "oh that just doesn't look good on me." Try it on anyways! You may look like a fool or you may love it and realize you've been missing out. I think this is somehow a metaphor for life as well....we can all get a little stuck.

4th in Rewind.

07.08.2014 // So I'm not exactly sure where all of this year has gone, but I do know I can't stop it. I thought summer had just started, now the 4th is over and all the local craft stores are starting to put out fall decorations. Not ok. Anyways, this year's 4th of July was nothing short of patriotic overload and I wouldn't have it any other way! We got up early in order to bike all the way from Costa Mesa to the beach (over 5 miles each way I must add which was quite the undertaking for someone who hasn't hopped on a bike in years). There were many stops and detours along the way, but it just felt amazing to get out and play in the sun and cheer with every other random passerby wearing red white and blue on the streets.

Summer Love.

07.02.2014 // Summer is undeniably here. All I want to do is spend each day outside exploring places I've never been and eating fancy ice cream. Unfortunately work and responsibilities prevent this from happening on a daily basis, but I make time for it when I can. Last weekend, Tyler and I got to watch the sun set from a quiet little beach in Seal Beach, one of my favorite new places to go and relax. It was also a chance to wear out one of my favorite new tops courtesy of the rad people at Krocket Kids intl.  If you don't know who they are, you absolutely should. Not only do they make awesome clothes for men and women (and the most adorable little baby accessories you ever did find), but they have an amazing impact on our world. Now get off your computer and go enjoy the nice weather!
